Synsam / Cheap Monday

To coincide with the launch of the Cheap Monday eye-wear collection exclusively available at Synsam, WERK were commissioned by the client to develop a microsite where users can try two of their latest models using ‘Augmented Reality‘. The project is one of the many cutting-edge/R&D collaborations we’ve done with our developers team at Swiff.

Best of all was the results: Over three months, sales were three times expectations, and Synsam had to redirect shipments from Norway and Denmark to meet demand in Sweden. Brand preference for Synsam jumped 35 percentage points in the 15-25 year old group, and those who bought glasses could well be customers now for life – bringing huge long term value.

Swedish advertising news paper Dagens Media have posted an article listing it as the number one up-and-coming technology for this year. Also, ”Media Campaign of the Year” nomination to Stockholm Media Week, winner to be announced on May 5, 2010.
